the comfort of memories

-both of my boys got some sort of gun from Santa...
so we have been saying all the day long-
"you'll shoot your eye out-kid!
thank you so much from face-to-face for such a great year.
We have learned alot, grown alot, and been thank-full-ALOT.
we have some fun changes around he corner so stay-tuned.
Merry Christmas.

TIMBER.

never crossed my mind to get a photo-
sitting (first time all day) admiring one of our prettiest trees-
enters our 1 year old Lab Jake- aka "marley"
crash.

face to face had such a jolly time last night at the shop sip & see at Ziggy's on St. Simons Island.
we saw some pretty shiny things- pretty faces- and really pretty ideas for stocking stuffers

Our big hit was our happy handmade ornaments and our knob-knockers (yikes).

little signs with expressions that remind you of things you don't want to forget.

Jack Spencer-"where have you been all my life?"

Jack Spencer's Restless Art: "“This, I suppose, is the definition of art. It is an act of digging around in the minutiae of existence to find profound meaning in the simplest things. To be eternally curious. To play. Then to translate that fascination, curiosity, and play into something tangible to share with others."

you must read DOMINIQUE BROWNING'S piece on Jack Spencer.

tore open the shutters & threw up the sash...

not sure if it's the lure of old wood, the old song lyrics bringing back thoughts of youth or a combination of both that is drawing the crowds to the nostalgia of our Christmas pieces. We made 600 two days ago and they are almost gone!

they arrive in this brown bag dressed in thoughts of giving.

-what she said

emptied

tapped-out

working in the creative field can be so demanding for design is quite personal...

an extension of yourself.

for me,

it's hard to separate work from life

the blurring of

the line is beautiful

but sometimes it can be quite taxing

you never know when to stop.

step away.

refuel.

A Monumental Moment

Yesterday-
We packed up our booth in our "new" crates and put alot of hard work on a freight train
to NEW YORK CITY.
It's is not the first time we have done New York-
just the first time we have done it in God"s timing.
No more "sleppin'" our goods-we are arriving with the big dawgs!
